Visiting Professor at UMHVL: Prof. Abdelaziz Lakehal from University of Souk Ahras, Algeria

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 October 2024 - Professor Abdelaziz Lakehal from Laboratory of Research on Electromechanical and Dependability, University of Souk Ahras, Algeria, was appointed as a Visiting Professor at the Universiti Malaya High Voltage Laboratory (UMHVL), Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya from 30 October 2024 to 8 November 2024. The appointment was part of his international research leave activities. During the appointment, Prof. Abdelaziz discussed about research collaboration with the Head of UMHVL, Professor Ir. Dr. Hazlee Azil Illias. The collaboration includes student co-supervision, paper co-publication and research grant application. Prof. Abdelaziz also shared his research experience and expertise with UMHVL members. UMHVL members had a chance to demonstrate and present their research work to Prof. Abdelaziz. The members received constructive feedback from Prof. Abdelaziz about their work, which was crucial for the work improvement in the future.
