KUALA LUMPUR, 5 March 2020 - Seven academic staffs and 50 undergraduate students from Universitas Tridinanti Palembang, Indonesia visited the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya on 5th March 2020. The visit was part of their educational activities.
During the visit, the Head of University of Malaya High Voltage Laboratory (UMHVL) and the Secretary of IEEE Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia Chapter, Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Hazlee Azil Illias introduced the Faculty of Engineering and UMHVL to the visitors. The introduction of UMHVL included high voltage research facilities available and research activities carried out in the laboratory.
Dr. Hazlee also took the opportunity to promote IEEE DEIS Malaysia Chapter and Malaysian High Voltage Network (MyHVnet) to the visitors. After the introduction, all visitors were brought to UMHVL to view the actual surrounding of the lab.
