Monash University Malaysia Visit to UM High Voltage Lab (August 2025)

KUALA LUMPUR, 14 August 2025 – An academic staff and students from Monash University Malaysia visited the Universiti Malaya High Voltage Laboratory (UMHVL) at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya on 13 and 14 August 2025. The visit was part of their educational activities. They were welcomed by the Head of UMHVL, Prof. Ir. Dr. Hazlee Azil Illias. During the visit, a member of UMHVL, Mr. Ciptian Weried Priananda, who is also a member of IEEE Universiti Malaya Student Branch, explained the lab safety requirement and demonstrated high impulse voltage generation to the visitors.
